The Club invited its members to a
two-day interactive forum at the Four Seasons Hotel, Mayfair, London
on 2nd and 3rd of October, 2000.
The forum aimed to draw together the international membership
(some 35 countries were represented), the managers and the Directors
of the Club, to meet and discuss topics of mutual interest. Select
speakers, many of whom are ITIC members, addressed the problems
ITIC members face on a daily basis, providing practical advice,
as well as their vision for the future. ITIC is the world leader
in its field and insurers over 1,200 countries in 85 countries.
The forum provided a unique opportunity for members to network
with other companies in their field. The forum also marked ITIC's
75th anniversary. The Club traces its origins to the Chartered
Shipbrokers Protection Association first formed on 2nd December
1925.
